Transcend was the first integrated, multi-modal transport
modelling package developed by VLC.
It was written by Mike Veitch over a period
spanning 1983 through until 1988, and was first utilised in the
Brisbane Transport Study (BTS).
Over the course of the next several years, Transcend was used on a
wide range of transport modelling tasks predominantly in
South-East Queensland, until it was eventually superseded by Zenith.
VLC has a wide range of state-of-the-art softwares to cater the
ever growing needs of the transport industry.
