Veitch Lister Consulting (VLC) is looking for an experienced Transport Modeller to assist in the use and development of our own proprietary multi-modal transport modelling software, called Zenith.  VLC has developed multi-modal transport models for all capital cities throughout Australia, which have been used to evaluate public transport, road and land-use schemes for Federal, State and local Governments, along with private industry.

You will be required to have:
• Comprehensive Multi-Modal Strategic transport, toll and economic modelling skills
• Abilities in the use of OmniTRANS software (or similar, such as Emme/2, VISSUM, TRIPS, Saturn)
• Knowledge of GIS, VBA, access, software development in Ruby, Java or C++ and advanced excel would be advantageous
• An enthusiasm for working in small teams (including transport modellers, transport planners and software specialists)
• Have tertiary qualifications in engineering and/or maths

 

You will be working with an experienced and small team, reporting directly to the office manager.
