Brisbane Land Use Transport Study

The objectives of this study were to:

• assess the compatibility of the then proposed Brisbane Strategic Plan with the existing and proposed transport network; and
• to identify transport strategies which would reinforce and promote both the broad and specific objectives of the Plan.

The analysis was undertaken using VLC's Access module which relates the development density of an area with the quality and connectivity provided by the transport network. The study cast doubts on the achievability of some aspects of the Plan and suggested a number of possible remedial measures.
